| From the photos above you can see that Licuma is at an early stage of development, so we are going to leave this web page short so we can add more text and photos as we develop. The area of Licuma is farmland and most of the people around work their farms, mostly they are of rice and vegtables. The bottom phot shows a guy called Marlon [he is still smiling and that sack weighs 50kg], Marlon works with his father on a rice farm The area of land that we own is 1,720 square metres, it is mainly grass with three large stands of bamboo, a few fruit trees [like Mango], the bamboo stands at over 100 feet high, we will use some of this in our construction work, there is a small river towards the rear of the land and we own around half of it, some work has started [groundwork and felling of some of the bamboo]but nothing moves very fast in the Philippines We have a small rice interest, the farmers own or work many hectres of land but cant afford to plant out all of it with seed or fertilise it, so we give them small sums of money, in return they provide us with sacks of rice, that we give away to others that have even less than the farmers I have told you a little about my family, but really my Philipine family is my life and world, and as it is very large, it would take many pages to tell you all about it,TO EXPERIENCE PHILIPPINE LIFE FOR YOURSELF YOU REALLY NEED TO VISIT, please remember you are not visiting a hotel but someones home, if you only wish information we will be very pleased to help you, there is no pressure, and i could talk all day about my life and experiences in this wonderful and beautiful country WE SUPPORT BRAND PHILIPPINES PCCI Philippines Chamber of Commerce and Industry |
