You have worked hard all year, now is the time to start to relax, unwind, and have some fun,well maybe you have found your answer on this web site, over the next few years we will develop ANDA BEACH, this beach is in a very peaceful area of BOHOL, which is not travelled to at present by many tourists. That as i said will be over the next few years, so what do we have now and for the next year
At present we own two bungalows in Ormoc, that you can rent out now, Ormoc is also peaceful but as it is a city it has a good nightlife a number of clubs and dancing, there is also for golf enthusiasts the Ormoc and Leyte golf club, membership is not expensive and green fees almost non existant, caddies cost a few dollars per round. There is also the sea and a few beach resorts, Sals being just one
The bungalows sleep six-eight persons between them, and contain all you need for your holiday, there is cable television with H.B.O, a C.D. and a singalong system, in the lounge, a fully equiped kitchen, including a fridge /freezer and cooker. Outside there is a billard table, a swing[large and very heavy], and an aquarium. There is a terrace to eat on thats covered so you can chat when ever you wish, eat al fresco, or just relax and watch the aquarium. The beer is cheap[ San Miguel ]and the local people are very friendly, what more could you want?....Someone to do your washing? [ no problem ]...Someone to clean and tidy? [ no problem ], a guide? [ no problem ], how about a car and driver, we also have that, and if you prefer to use local transport, its both easy and inexpensive, do you remember a time when a bus would wait for you, or actually reverse back to pick you up, well they do in Ormoc, and what about price? How about 4 peso to ride into town, [there are at present 101 peso to the £ ]

THINGS TO SEE AND DO AROUND ORMOC
LEYTE MOUNTAIN TRAIL
Outstanding treking area, which starts at lake Danao, Ormoc to the Mahagno Volcano Natural Park- a distace of 40 kms
ATTRACTIONS:- Rainforest tour: breathtaking views, beautiful lakes {Mahagnao, Malagsum, Casudsu-Ran and Danao}, the spectacular Guinaban- Falls, Forests, Plains and the views of the islands of Samar from the crest of the central Amandiwing mountain range, the profusion of tropical flora and fauna, including colorful insects, butterflies, deer, wildboar, monkeys, birds, orchids and giant fern.
TONGONAN HOTSPRINGS NATIONAL PARK
ATTRACTIONS:- A valley of geothermal power source, that can supply electricity to the whole region, cool and relaxing climate, the first geothermal plant to operate in the Philippines
LAKE DANAO
ATTRACTIONS:- A violin shaped lake some 3 kms long and at and elevation of 2,100 feet above sea level, a hunters paradise, the lake is said to house a giant eel, boats are available for hire and there is a floating restuarant { a sort of floating pontoon let out into the centre of the lake on ropes }.
MOUNT PANGASUSAN ECO PARK
Virgin rainforest, diverse flora and fauna, many of which are endangered, like the Tarsier and the Flying Lemur, a unique ecological asset.
CUATRO ISLAS
Location:- The towns of Idpacan and Hindang, plus a pump boat ride, four lovely isles named, Digyo, Apid, Mahaba and Himerilan, there is a white sand shore, surrounded by beautiful coral gardens, a total of 287 species, a rich fishing ground, two hours from Ormoc, then the pump boat ride.

TEE OFF IN ORMOC
Spend the day at the par 72 fairways of the Leyte Golf and Country Club, treat yourself too a meal and a great conversation at the 19th hole, looks like a thatched house in England, built of local reed called Cogan. There are Golf items for sale.

Picture taken inside one of the bungalows, shows my asawa, [wife] Elizabeth, and our three anak ng babaye, [daughters] starting with on the left Stefahne Mae, Patricia Ann, and Erika. Elizabeth and myself were married in 19991, in Ormoc City, we actually married twice [a civil marriage and then in the church], We travel to the Philippines on a regular basis. We both have jobs in England, i work for Fedex an American company, whilst Elizabeth works in a care home, we also have a number of internet companies.
The name:- www.andabeachbohol.com is a registered and protected domain, that is registered with whois, has been set up to protect our Philippine interests. We are well known in Ormoc, and have contacts in most areas from the poorest farmers to city hall.
We will be producing a monthly news letter that will update on our bungalows, the building in Licuma and our development in Bohol, plus give information on culture and life in the Philippines in general.
